Trade. Traktor acquire Zaitsev from Admiral Vladivostok

Goaltender Dmitry Sharov and forward Danila Barabash were sent to the Admiral team.

20-year-old forward Gleb Zaitsev will be joining the Traktor Chelyabinsk after he was acquired in a trade for goaltender Dmitry Sharov and forward Danila Barabash. This season the forward played 6 games for KHL Admiral Vladivostok, last season he recorded 28 (11+17) points in 46 KHL games. in JHL Zaitsev had 69 games with 28 (11+17) points for Taifun. 

The career of the young forward began in Chelyabinsk where he played for Mechel. In 2017 preseason Zaitsev had a chance to sign a deal with Belye Medvedi of the JHL but it didn`t happened due to him being drafted by Admiral Vladivostok.

His first KHL game was last seson and the player scored his first KHL goal when he was 18 years and 11 months old and became the youngest player in Vladivostok team`s histore to record a goal. In February he was named the best rookie of the week after tailling 4 points in 4 games. The forward played for the junior national team with Vitaly Kravtsov at the Four Nations tournament and managed to score a goal.

After the trade the Belye Medvedi`s goaltender Dmitry Sharov  and forward Danila Barbash were sent to Vladivostok. The goaltender had 2 games in 2019-20 season with 2.92 GAA and 91.2 SVS% while forward recorded 2 assists in 18 games.
