Gynge, Bergström and Sholokhov visited the palliative care department of the children`s regional hospital
During the December IIHF break Traktor players put some meetings and events in the schedule.
Richard Gynge, Alexander Bergstrom and Marcel Sholokhov visitend patients of the children`s regional hospital. The players presented the palliative care department with the new brand TV and medicine for the teen who survived a terrible car accident. The black and whites communicated with the little patients and gave them a short lesson of the English and Swedish languages and wished children to recover as fast as possible.
"Such meetings for kids is a great way to positively affect their rehabilitation. Our patients are often invited to the Traktor games and I think it encourages them to do sports", says the head of the palliative care department Natalia Tarasova.
"The meeting turned out to be warm. Children looked so happy when they saw us and they promised to recover as fast as possible." says Marcel Sholokhov.
We`d like to notice that it`s not the first time when Traktor visits the hospital. The player of all the teams which compose the ice hockey club visit different departments a few times a year and bring some presents which can cheer the children and help them to forget for a moment that they are in hospital and when they leave it, they already have invitations for the team home games to see their new friends on ice.
